Industry Giants

Paul Brett – Managing Director (Landbay)
Paul has over 30 years’ experience working in the mortgage industry. He started working life at Hambros Bank Home Loans in the City in 1987 (and saw the birth of Hambro Countrywide), through to the Yorkshire Building Society and SPML before starting his own mortgage packaging company FastCom.
With the advent of mortgage regulation, Paul founded the packager association ‘Freehold’ bringing together over 20 businesses, which led to the creation of the associations own mortgage lender. After the ‘crunch’ Paul has worked in various sectors of the industry from Borro to Masthaven, to being a founder member of the team that created Foundation Home Loans only to join Landbay as MD for Intermediaries in Feb 2017.


Rodger Morris - Director of Sales (Precise)
Roger’s mortgage and property industry knowledge is second to none, with many years as a successful landlord and developer to his credit. As Director of Sales at Precise Mortgages, he manages the sales team taking responsibility for all sales activity and driving business volumes through all distribution channels.


Rob Barnard - Sales Director (Pepper Money)
Having commenced as Director of Sales in April 2016, Rob is responsible for implementing Pepper Money’s sales and distribution strategies and building and developing the sales team. Rob has over 25 years of experience in intermediary lending and prior to Pepper was Head of Intermediary Distribution at Aldermore Bank. He has also held senior sales roles with a number of specialist lenders including Freedom Lending and Wave Lending. Rob was recognised as Best Head of Sales at the British Mortgage Awards 2012 and awarded Head of Sales / National Accounts at the British Specialist Lending Awards 2017.


Andrew Ferguson - Commercial Director (Foundation Home Loans)
Andrew has gained significant mortgage sector experience during his 28 years in the industry. He joined Foundation in Sept 17 as Commercial Director, with Executive responsibility for Sales, Distribution, Products and Proposition and is leading the company’s growth plans within Buy to Let and Residential Mortgages . Prior to that Andrew led the Buy to Let Business at Axis Bank from launch, being instrumental in defining and shaping all elements of the strategy and proposition. Before joining Axis, Andrew worked within the Specialist lending arena at Kent Reliance as Head of Sales & Distribution and was Head of Sales & Marketing at Cambridge Building Society which included leading the mortgage intermediary teams. His early career included 15 years within Lloyds Banking Group undertaking a variety of sales and product related roles.
